This is my second post today, one very early this morning and I just shot this sunset from my back porch with three birds perched mulling over the day's harvest (I made that up!), but the sun was setting and again I was shooting directly into the sun which washes out any color but but I like the contrasts and shadows that resulted.
Standing and looking directly into the sun behind this Christ statue at about 6:30 am, the sun was low, so I just got behind it and shot away until I got the results that I wanted. This is looking down on the ball fields of the church where I played baseball and football in grade school for St Ignatius too many years ago to count.
Took this during a downpour, actually when the sun was out and still raining, which is cool. I was still in my garage with a 70-200mm lens so I didn't get soaked and still got a lot of bokeh (nice blur) in the background.
This was shot in the basement during after breakfast dress up time. No special lights, just caught Elle pushing her stroller as Princess Elle. Both of my granddaughters love to play dress up.
I love both of these, but I can't imagine what Camryn was thinking about with that very stern face, she wanted something, I just don't know what it was at the time.
