Pristine Indiana Farm Land (New photo)

I have been on this stretch of I-65 in Indiana 100's of times since I moved from Chicago to Cincinnati in 1963. That's actually 49 years worth of trips back and forth, it was always just nice farmland, flat, but well maintained farms, small towns, nothing spectacular, but beautiful especially during the summer when all the crops were up, usually corn. Now this county is growing windmills, I am talking a lot of them. No political statement here, I am sure the farmers may be getting rich with their new crop, but this looks like shit.

  1. Rensaleer Wind Farm, one of the most consistent wind fields in the continental US. Each wind turbine pays for itself in 6.3 years. After that, free energy.
